摘要： Lossofmusclemassandfunctionisacommonoccurrenceinbothpatientswithdecompensatedcirrhosisandthoseundergoinglivertransplantation.Sarcopeniaisassociatedwithmorbidityandmortalitybeforeandafterlivertransplantation.Theabilityofskeletalmusclemasstorecoveraftertransplantisquestionable,andlongtermadverseeventsassociatedwithpersistentsarcopeniahavenotbeenwellstudied.Limiteddataisavailableexaminingmechanismsbywhichdecreasedmusclemassmightdevelop.Itisnotclearwhichinterventionsmightreducetheprevalenceofsarcopeniaandassociatedhealthburdens.However,measurestoeitherdecreaseportalhypertensionorimprovenutritionappeartohavebenefit.Researchonsarcopeniainthelivertransplantsettingishamperedbydifferingmethodologytoquantifymusclemassandvariedthresholdsdeterminingthepresenceofsarcopenia.Oneareahighlightedinthisreviewistheheterogeneityusedwhendefiningsarcopenia.Thehealthconsequences,clinicalcourseandpotentialpathophysiologicmechanismsofsarcopeniainthesettingofcirrhosisandlivertransplantationarefurtherdiscussed. ... （共12頁(yè)）
