摘要: MicroRNAs(miRNAs)canbefoundinawiderangeoftissuesandbody?uids,andtheirspeci?csignaturescanbeusedtodeterminediseasesorpredictclinicalcourses.ThemiRNApro?lesinbiologicalsamples(tissue,serum,peripheralbloodmononuclearcellsorotherbody?uids)differsigni?cantlyeveninthesamepatientandthereforehavetheirownspeci?cityforthepresentedcondition.Complexpro?lesofderegulatedmiRNAsareofhighinterest,whereastheimportanceofnon-expressedmiRNAswasignored.SincemiRNAsregulategeneexpressionrathernegatively,absentmiRNAscouldindicategeneswithunalteredexpressionthatthereforearenormallyexpressedinspeci?ccompartmentsorunderspeci?cdiseasesituations.Forthe?rsttime,non-detectablemiRNAsindifferenttissuesandbody?uidsfrompatientswithdifferentdiseases(cardiomyopathies,Alzheimersdisease,bladdercancer,andocularcancer)wereanalyzedandcomparedinthisstudy.miRNAexpressiondataweregeneratedbymicroarrayorTaqManPCR-basedplatforms.ListsofabsentmiRNAsofprimarilycardiacpatients(myocardium,bloodcells,andserum)wereclusteredandanalyzedforpotentiallyinvolvedpathwaysusingtwopredictionplatforms,i.e.,miRNAenrichmentanalysisandannotationtool(miEAA)andDIANAmiRPath.Extensivesearchinbiomedicalpublicationdatabasesfortherelevanceofnon-expressedmiRNAsinpredictedpathwaysrevealednoevidencefortheirinvolvementinheart-relatedpathwaysasindicatedbysoftwaretools,con?rmingproposedapproach. ...
